| Alliance is the first institution in its category to be accorded the status of a
Research Center. The Alliance Research Center is equipped to offer M.Phil and Ph.D Programs. Apart from such programs which have the potential to raise the institution to a higher level in the academic arena, the Research Center is also engaged in a number of initiatives of a path-breaking nature: |
- ALLIANCE JOURNAL OF BUSINESS RESEARCH is an international double blind-refereed journal which has been made possible due to the co-operation between OAKLAND UNIVERSITY, USA and Alliance. The Journal has been well-accepted in academic and corporate circles. Now in its third issue, the Journal has Dr. MOHAN PISHARODI of Oakland University as the Editor and Dr. B V KRISHNAMURTHY of Alliance as the Managing Editor. A panel of distinguished academics who have graciously agreed to serve as Reviewers ensures the quality of the publication.
- ALLIANCE BUSINESS REVIEW is a periodical devoted to studies in three areas of contemporary relevance – BANGALORE STOCK INDEX, which tracks select scrips on the Bangalore Stock Exchange, STATE OF THE ECONOMY, which analyses macro-economic trends and provides forecasts, and QUALITY OF LIFE STUDIES, which focuses on the quality of life in the Bangalore Metropolitan Area and which is being extended to other cities. These initiatives are a result of Alliance’s co-operation with SOCIAL SYSTEMS RESEARCH INSTITUTE, USA, a leading think-tank and consultant to FORTUNE 500 Companies.
- ALLIANCE ANTHOLOGY OF CASES is a compilation of refereed cases developed by the faculty members of Alliance. Contributions from academics are welcome.
