Bio-Data Professor GOMATAM RANGASWAMY NARAYANAN is a graduate and post-graduate in commerce from Bangalore University and had the distinction of topping the batch in post-graduation. He was awarded his Doctoral Degree from the School of Management, Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. Subsequently, he had the opportunity to be a post-doctoral fellow at the University of Illinois, USA. Professor NARAYANAN has had parallel careers in academia and the corporate world, alternating between the two. He has served UNIDO – GATT as a Senior Researcher for 3 years. Professor NARAYANAN has been a Professor at Universiti Sains Malaysia and at TAPMI. His corporate career has included stints with Hindustan Lever and Corporate and Economic Research Center. Professor NARAYANAN has been instrumental in bringing out ALLIANCE BUSINESS REVIEW comprising of the Bangalore Stock Index, State of the Economy and Quality of Life Studies. He is also the Editor of the ALLIANCE ANTHOLOGY OF CASES.
